MAISON 140 IN BEVERLY HILLS INTRODUCES

Monthly cheese and wine tastings at Bar Noir

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - In an exclusive partnership with the Cheese Store of Beverly Hills, Maison 140, an intimate boutique hotel in Beverly Hills, will host a monthly wine and cheese tasting in its French-Mandarin inspired Bar Noir.

Vin et Fromage will take place every third Monday of the month and feature international cheeses paired with wines from some of the world's finest regions. An expert from the Cheese Store of Beverly Hills and Bar Noir's own sommelier will present a variety of cheeses with a recommended wine pairing. The toasting and tasting event, for hotel guests and local residents alike, can be enjoyed for $30 per person.

Bar Noir's Vin et Fromage will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tasting schedules through 2004 include:

• August 16
• September 20
• October 18
• November 15

November's evening will feature champagne and sparkling wines in celebration of the holiday season. Reservations are suggested for each event and can be made by calling Maison 140 at (310) 281-4000.
